Analytical NutriAgeing

The Analytical NutriAgeing research group was formed in early 2022 after the incorporation of the Research Scientist Héctor González-Iglesias, whose scientific activity has been oriented to the analytical chemistry field, dedicating to the development of advanced analytical methodologies, combined with the use of biochemical research methods, molecular biology and genetics, in order to contribute to address current challenges in nutrition, food technology, wellness and health.

This research group proposes a holistic approach aimed at the development and implementation of omics analytical technologies and mass spectrometry-based methodologies, offering solutions and providing quality analytical information for the study of nutraceuticals and functional foods based on dairy products in order to promote healthy aging.
